Join us for a collaborative session with leaders at the City of Eugene and the nonprofit sector to learn where your unique skills and personal passion fill a gap to solve some of the big issues in our region. Whether it’s an opportunity to volunteer outside of your full time job or a chance to step up as a community leader, let’s figure out where you can make the most impact. YPs are critical to this conversation as we work to build our community for right now and the future. Attendees will receive a zoom link 30 minutes prior to the event start time. Optional networking begins at 1pm, must be registered to participate.

YP Engage: Building Resilience

We’re all missing our coworkers, family, friends and living for moments of pre-pandemic nostalgia. We could all use a little self-care right about now. Look past the challenges and discuss tips on how to take care of your emotional well-being while under stress with Jodi DePaoli, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Let’s prepare to overcome new challenges, avoid burnout and promote a positive environment for mental health by building strategies to tackle them together. YP Engage is a unique, round table opportunity to learn and discuss a range of civic minded topics with some of Eugene’s leading community members. More about the speaker: Jodi DePaoli leads the Behavioral Health & Employee Assistance Programs Department at Cascade Health. She and her team of counselors help their clients successfully navigate life’s challenges in order to live their best life and achieve a goal of overall wellness. Registered attendees will receive a link to join the virtual meeting, the day before the event.

Together they will outline factors affecting housing, current challenges, new developments, and future outlook for the Eugene/Springfield area. Together we can support these efforts to make a difference and be change makers in our community. More about the speakers: Born and raised in Springfield, Hayley Radich is the Senior Director of Partner & Community Engagement for Travel Lane County. She has been with the organization since 2013 in a variety of roles, but currently oversees partner benefits, publications, and Visitor Center Operations. She has her Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Advertising from Grand Canyon University. She is currently serving as the Chair of the Leadership Eugene - Springfield Steering Committee, the Destinations International 30 Under 30 Alumni Council, and the Relief Nursery’s “Dodge for a Cause” Dodgeball Tournament fundraiser. She has previously served on the Eugene Young Professionals Council and Summit planning committees as well as the Planning Committee for Market Fest - a three-day community festival. Join us for a morning of personal development and civic engagement, as we learn more about the mission and tour the facilities of our local Ronald McDonald House. Find out ways that you can support them and get involved by volunteering over coffee, pastries, and networking with like-minded young professionals. You'll get exclusive access to the facilities that host the families and learn more about their programs. Register below!
