Be the Board Member Everyone Wants explores how serving on a nonprofit board goes far beyond writing a check\, it’s about contributing your time\, expertise\, curiosity\, and leadership to make a real impact. Great board members bring energy\, follow-through\, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves\, and in return they gain access to new networks\, mentorship\, and a deeper sense of purpose. In this session\, we’ll break down what boards actually need\, how to contribute even if you’re early in your career\, and the habits that turn a “volunteer” into a trusted partner.
