Ariel Ruben is a passionate supporter of entrepreneurship and innovation. Working for many years in the startup scene in San Diego, she understands what it takes to build a successful company that is both scrappy and scalable. She currently specializes in food systems development at her family’s business, Hummingbird Wholesale. There she wears many hats from sales and marketing to strategy and product creation. Additionally, Ariel works as a Rural Venture Catalyst at Oregon RAIN to mentor and support small businesses and high growth startups in rural communities. She also works as the Brand Strategist for the Hazel People, an Oregon-based startup making the world’s finest hazelnut milk. As an entrepreneur herself, she dreams big, never taking no for an answer.
