Step into the world of Oregon Duck Basketball with Bud Withers, a sportswriter for more than 45 years, into the most controversial program of its time – the 1970’s ‘Kamikaze Kids’. Withers will give us a new look at an old program, one that shaped our sports community as we know it and brought an intensity that continues today. He’ll talk about the program in detail, including the East-Coast coach, the program that was detested across the nation for its intensity, and the bitter rivalry with OSU. After the presentation, we’ll do some networking – strike up conversations about future partnerships, plus we’ll talk Ducks Basketball and the NCAA Tournament! See you there!
Everyone is welcome, you don’t need to be a YP Member to attend.
